Mechanical Insulation, Done Right the First Time

Mechanical insulation is a fraction of a facility’s construction cost — and one of the few line items that pays the owner back every day the building runs. Properly insulated systems hold temperature, cut energy consumption, control condensation, protect personnel from burn hazards, and quiet mechanical noise.

For over 30 years, Caldwell Insulation has installed those systems across the Southeast and beyond — commercial, industrial, power generation, petrochemical, and cryogenic. Our craftsmen are trained on every major material and system, and we handle projects of any scale, as prime subcontractor or working under your mechanical contractor.

Range of Work

  • Piping from ½″ to 96″ diameter
  • Ductwork of all sizes & configurations
  • Hot, cold & cryogenic systems
  • Any scale — mechanical room to full facility

Industries We Serve

Office towers, hospitals, laboratories, data centers, schools, and government facilities. We insulate the HVAC piping, ductwork, plumbing piping, and equipment that commercial buildings run on — including LEED-certified projects and specialized environments like BSL-4 laboratories.

  • Commercial insulation systems
  • Process piping insulation
  • Custom material applications

Materials & Applications

Every system has a right material — chosen for temperature range, moisture exposure, mechanical abuse, and code requirements. Our craftsmen are trained in the installation of all major insulation materials and jacketing systems, so the specification drives the material, never the other way around.
