Matt is the president of the corporation and a founding member. He is passionate about our corporate safety objectives and strives to maintain healthy work environments for both the field crews and office staff. He manages corporate finances to ensure our firm remains an industry leader by having the monetary strength to participate in projects of any size or location. His daily responsibilities involve business development, staff support/ management, vendor relations, and being the company liaison with the labor unions. He has been married 21 years to his wife and has 4 children. His family is very active in several facets of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. His hobbies include traveling, coaching travel baseball, hunting, and boating with family.

Chris is the Vice President. His daily responsibilities involve customer relations and corporate growth. He is senior project manager in our firm and generally handles some of our most challenging projects. He has the daily task of reviewing and assisting with all pricing and estimation of future work. He has performed contracts in GA, SC, NC, OK, AL, TN, and FL. Chris brings a fire to the company that is rare. He passion for the company’s prosperity and future is evident in the manner in which he conducts business with both our customers as well as our employees. Personally, he is married with 2 children. He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. His hobbies include hunting, traveling with his family, and watching his high school age son play baseball.

Penny is the office manager for our company. She has many years of accounting expertise that allows her to efficiently manage the day to day administrative needs of the company. Penny is involved in the reporting responsibilities for job cost tracking and union benefit reporting for each job. Penny is in many ways “the face” of the company as she is the first you see as you enter our corporate headquarters and she is also the primary voice you hear when calling our firm on the phone. We are blessed to have her in this leadership position as she wears many hats in her role as office manager. Penny has 2 children and is very active in her church here in this community. She has one of the best outlooks on life one could have and keeps our staff smiling and motivated. She is also an accomplished photographer and the local guru on healthy eating and living well. We hope you get the opportunity to know her the way we do.

Scott is an engineer by trade and is a project manager with our firm. His responsibilities involve the management of various contracts, customer relations, tracking quality and production of installation, estimation and pricing, and overall interaction with company jobsite supervision to see that each project is finished on time and within budget. Scott also assists with company safety requirements and helps to oversee that our people have a healthy and safe work environment. Scott is married and has three children. He is also very active in First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.

Sam is project manager with Caldwell Insulation. He handles some of our most challenging projects. His responsibilities involve the management of various contracts, customer relations, tracking quality and production of installation, estimation and pricing, and overall interaction with company job site supervision to see that each project is finished on time and within budget Sam also oversees the equipment for the company. He manages the fleet of vehicles, tracks the equipment and tool logs, and makes sure our firm maintains organization both in the fabrication shop and in the field. Sam is married and has 2 children. He is active in Northpoint Church.

Thurston is the senior estimator and on occasion his role will extend to being a project manager as well. His daily responsibilities involve pricing of work for our firm. He has many years of experience in our field and has become a recognized leader of our industry. He spends much of his time engineering and finishing design work for jobs that our firm is quoting that may require a GMP proposal. Many of his bids are on jobs that have minimal layout or design completed by the project bids. Over his career, he has obtained the knowledge to accurately finish mechanical and plumbing design so that our firm can give finite pricing at very early levels of document completion. Thurston is married and has two children and three grandchildren. He is also very active in Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon Georgia.

Nic has taken on the role of Assistant Project Manager here at Caldwell insulation. Nic splits his time between assistant PM work and overseeing our warehouse in which he directs any shipping and receiving. He is also in charge of the procurement for all insulation materials that are stocked here in our 25,000sqft warehouse just west of Atlanta GA. He maintains relationships with both our vendors and suppliers to ensure we have all the materials we need to build the various types of projects that Caldwell tackles. He is also responsible to oversee facility maintenance and the needs of the vehicle fleet. Nic is a very efficient and organized individual who has helped to raise the bar in our management and distribution of our inventory. His hobbies include spending time with his family and also he is an avid collector of rare video gaming consoles.

Teresa Caldwell is an administrative assistant with our company. She has held many positions with our firm over her 20 year tenure with Caldwell. Currently she heads our marketing efforts and initiatives as well as sources our employee benefits programs. She is also instrumental in the AP/AR area of the administration. She brings a great amount of energy to this group and is instrumental in keeping the organization viable. She is married and has two children and 6 grandchildren. Teresa and her husband belong to First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. Her hobbies and interest include traveling, reading, camping, and time spent with her grandchildren.

Phyllis is our part time administrative assistant. She retired from full time employment in August 2015 but after being with us for ten plus years as an integral part of our firm, we just cannot let her go. She continues to work on a part time basis with our administrative team. Her experience is invaluable as she has been with us through the many cycles of business and has proven again and again to be a real asset. She assist with the billing process as well as handles overflow of administrative duties. Phyllis loves spending her free time with friends and family, she has two grown children and three grandchildren. Phyllis attends Victory Baptist Church in Cedartown where she is an active member.
